Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

'Tis the season for cheer and excitement! Last Friday night, when P. Daddy came home from work, he brought Auntie Mo!! She stayed with us for almost a week, and it was awesome! I never got sick of her reading me the story my Mommy wrote! She is a great story teller. Throughout the weekend, we mainly hung out around the house, playing, singing, dancing, telling stories, and catching up in general! Sunday, we met Grandma and Grandpa, Uncle Steve, and Aunt Chris and Ryan at a huge resort/hotel. P. Daddy took me there once before for a festival, but I must say, they really outdid themselves for Christmas! The decorations were amazing! Here I am with my sister, taking a break by a fountain. My cousin Ryan taught me all about tossing coins into them and making a wish! There was a HUGE train village set up, a coi pond, and an almost life size gingerbread house! The main draw is an ice maze, which takes about an hour and a half to get through. We got there a little late for that, and didn't get to go through it. Maybe next time! There were plenty of photo opportunities though! Oh, I also met a boy in the lobby who was doing amazing things with a glow stick loop he had made. I guess I stared at him long enough that he felt sorry for me, and gave me several of his glow loops. We whirled and twirled them together all through the lobby! It was fun! Tuesday morning we took Auntie Mo to my playgroup, where she got to meet quite a few of my friends! We had a potluck lunch, which was a bonus! Chrismas Eve was spent at our house. Mommy wasn't feeling well, so everyone else chipped in to help prepare dinner. Nana, Papa, Uncle Thomas, Kim, Russell, and Richelle all came over. After dinner, we did a gift exchange. I then went to bed early, because I knew Santa wouldn't come if I stayed up too late! Believe it or not, I then slept in Christmas morning! The first thing I went for way my stocking! Next, I headed towards the tree. Santa doesn't have time to wrap our presents, so we always know what he's brought, because it's sitting unopened, under the tree. This year, he brought us (my sister and I) some books, new markers, a parachute, and some games. We also got a TON of really great gifts from other friends and family members, so thanks again to all of you! I really loved everything I got this year! I've been making my parents play the Cootie game nightly since I got it! It's really fun. I'm apparently really good and rolling the dice (Papa you should be proud about that one!) Anyhow, Christmas night, we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house along with Aunt Chris, Ryan, and Uncle Steve. We had dinner, dessert, and then opened more presents. Here I am, wearing a really cool poncho that my Uncle Mike sent me all the way from Venezuela. It is AWESOME! Uncle Mike must have known I HATE wearing long sleeves, so it's perfect for me! It will keep my body warm, without causing me problems with restricted arm movements! Yay! (I cannot figure out how to post sideways pictures straight, so if anyone CAN, please let my mom know!) Happy new year, everyone!

For You, Lele

Per your request, Lele, here is a picture of my sister holding my "new" Frisco kitty!

Gearing Up for the Holidays

Last weekend we had SUCH a good time. A friend of mine, invited us out to their lakehouse for the afternoon. It was a long drive, but well worth it! We did some crafts, and fed the ducks. We also played in a gigantic leaf pile in the neighbors' yard. The leaf pile was so big, it was difficult to walk in. My friends and I had a major leaf fight, which was REALLY fun! Then, Grandma and Grandpa took us to a really fancy mall. Santa was actually there and told us some stories. The most facinating thing was, he didn't even read from books! He knew the stories by heart. After we met with him, we walked around the mall, looking at all of the decor. We even messed around in the kids section of Neiman Marcus. They had a piano which was just my size. I banged on it, and sang my favorite song, "Jingle Bells"! We also saw the magnificent train display. After the mall, we went and met P. Daddy for lunch. Then, we got to go back to Grandma & Grandpa's house, and played ALL afternoon while my sister napped. Grandpa let me try all sorts of new foods, including caviar. I even liked it!! It's fun to try new things! My Aunt Mo is visiting now. I am having SO much fun playing with her! We even stayed up late last night and watched a movie. I've been asking her several times a day, to read me the book my Mommy wrote. We've also been singing together. I can't wait to spend Christmas with my Aunt MoMo!

Ready for Christmas

Man am I ever ready for Christmas! I earned some extra money last week, helping P. Daddy decorate the Christmas tree (I was saving up to buy a new Frisco kitty doll, because I left my old one in a hotel a while back). We also did some shopping over the weekend, and got a few more decorations for outside. P. Daddy put the final touches on the outside of our house last night. It looks amazing! I'll post a picture of the house in a few days!

Nana and Papa were nice enough to pay me to do some chores around the house (again so I could earn money to get Frisco). I finally had enough money last night, so I got a new Frisco!! I helped Nana and Papa rake leaves in their yard. I even helped Nana pull the bags of the leaves to the curb! Of course, I also took some time off to PLAY in the leaves! I had a TON of fun letting Papa bury me in the leaves!

I also went shopping with Mommy, and I got a new winter coat. It came with a scarf and everything. I really don't like wearing jackets much, but this one is ok. You know me, I only want to wear dresses. Mommy has a hard enough time getting me to wear tights with them! I don't like the feeling of having my arms constricted, like I get when I'm wearing long sleeves.

We've been learning all about Christmas this month in home school. We've been doing a TON of crafts too, mostly while my sister is napping. I helped my mommy decorate Christmas cookies!

Fall Leaves

Here's a little video of me messing around in the leaves that Papa raked up for me to jump in. I had TONS of fun crawling in them, jumping in them, being buried in them, and of course, throwing them!
