Halloween Approaches!

We had a busy, busy week. Now that Mommy is off of bedrest, and has been cleared by her doctor, we've been able to get out and do more. Last week, we went to Story Time, music class, and the mall (to play and ride the carousel). P. Daddy actually stayed home from work on Wednesday, because Mommy and he were convinced that Mommy was going in labor. Needless to say, it was a false alarm, however I did enjoy spending the extra time with P. Daddy. We also got to go to the park this week. I have been learning a lot about animals lately. I can remember lots of facts about them, and am always impressing Mommy with my knowledge! I have also been learning about the differences between volcanoes and tornadoes. For some reason, I have taken a distinct interest in both. Mommy also go the globe out, and has been teaching me all about different places around the world. I am able to identify Texas, Michigan, Africa, and the North Pole at this point. One of my very good friends had a birthday party yesterday at an indoor jumping place. I had SOOOO much fun! Then, Mommy and P. Daddy went to a Halloween party last night, so I stayed with my Nana and Papa. The picture above is their costume. They actually won a contest and everything! I didn't really like Mommy's moustache, but other than that, I was ok with their choice! I am looking forward to dressing up in MY costume this week, and going trick or treating. I've also been talking about wanting to scare the kids who come to our house, by hiding, and saying "Boo, kids!"

Party!

This is a picture from the birthday party. I had a great time with my friends, and P. Daddy was a good sport, climbing, jumping, and sliding on everything with me! I know we were both tired at the end of the day!

Strawberry Picnic

Mommy and I were back to business last week (although she is still trying to take it easy)! We went to a playgroup, cleaned the house, laundered the clothes, and had a playdate. This weekend, P. Daddy worked on the attic with Papa Don and Russell, so Mommy and I spent a lot of time together. We played outside, and even had a strawberry picnic in the front yard! The weather has been SO beautiful here, that we are trying to take full advantage of it!

State Fair

The highlight of my week was definitely getting to go to the State Fair, with Mommy, Grandma, Grandpa, and my friends Dex and his mommy. Although it was quite hot, we had a LOT of fun! We went to a butterfly exhibit, had lunch (corny dogs and all), rode on the rides, played some games, and fed the animals at the petting zoo. I would have gladly stayed there all day, had Mommy allowed me!

Riding Rides

Y'all know how brave I am, and how I LOVE the rides! Here I am riding with a buddy of mine. Although, I must say, I was disappointed that I was too short to ride the huge ferris wheel! Mommy says maybe next year!

More Fair

Here I am playing my very first game at the Fair! I picked a winning duck, and even got to take home a red-eyed tree frog!

Sliding Around

This week was really busy for me! I went to Story Time, and had a playdate with one of my friends. Then, I went to music class, and learned more bath time songs! I have been singing "Wishy Washy Wishy Washy Wishy Washy Weeeeeee!" all over the house! I love that song! Mommy and I attended a LLL meeting, where I got to play with more of my friends. (For those of you who haven't heard, Mommy became an official LLL Leader, and will be doing volunteer work to help mothers who want to breastfeed their babies!) I went to the park with Mommy, Nana, and Bailey, which was REALLY fun! We fed the ducks and played on the playground. I even went down the BIG slide this time (as depicted above)! I was very proud of myself! Saturday, one of Mommy's friends had a baby shower for Ansley. That was really fun too. I especially enjoyed helping Mommy open presents, and of course, the cake! ;) This morning, I got to go for a bike ride with P. Daddy, Nana, and Papa. I was really happy about that. It's been too long since we've been! In fact, it's been so long, that P. Daddy had to adjust my helmet (because obviously my brain is getting so big!) and my seat (because my legs are longer now)! Mommy is trying to get lots of rest, because the baby will be coming soon. I just want to play and go go go!!

Pumpkin Princess

Here I am picking out two pumpkins at the pumpkin patch. I decided to dress as Cinderalla, because what better place to go dressed as a princess, than a pumpkin patch! I wore my green party shoes as well, which you can't see in the picture. I am really excited about the minipumpkins I picked though, because they are easy to carry and easy to hide!

Work/Fun

We had a busy busy week/weekend. I went to Story Time, had a doctors appointment, attended music class, went to a playgroup, and shopped at the mall. I was SO happy, because my Mommy got me some new "party" shoes. I picked them out. They are bright green, with sparkles, and they have poms on the end! I wear them almost every day. Mommy read the Fairy Tale Cinderella to me, and now I like to pretend I am her, almost daily. In fact, I have decided to be a princess for Halloween. Speaking of Halloween, Mommy and I decorated the house this weekend! I can't WAIT to go trick or treating. I keep telling Mommy that when the children come to our house to get candy, I'm going to scream, "Boo, kids!" In the picture, I am helping P. Daddy shovel some gravel from our driveway. I was a big help to him this weekend. Not only did I help him in the yard, but I helped with the storage room he's building up in the attic. It was pretty cool. I fancy myself quite the handy-woman. P. Daddy is teaching me a lot! Saturday I helped to celebrate Nana Sweetie's birthday (Happy birthday, Nana!) Happy birthday to you too, Papa S.! We also watched the UT game at Nana and Papa's house (although I did less watching, and more playing in the playhouse!) Sunday, Mommy cooked breakfast for Nana and Papa, while P. Daddy went on a long motorcycle ride with his friends. We had a fun day playing outside. When P. Daddy got home, we even got to go swimming in the hot tub!
