Helping Hand

Last week was busy, as usual. We went to Story Time (I'm up to 80 books-having been read to me). I made a flower picture frame for P. Daddy at art class this week. He really liked it. We had a playgroup on Wednesday. Thursday, I helped Mommy clean the house. Friday was the baseball game (I'll post more about that in a minute). Saturday and Sunday I hung out with Mommy and Nana, while Papa and P. Daddy worked on the playhouse. Mommy ordered a table online, so I cannot wait for that to come! I also got a beautiful birthday dress from Richelle! (It's my first birthday present so far!) Mommy said I could wear it next week, when she takes me to get my 2 year pictures done! I also helped P. Daddy fix one of the kitchen chairs. I am really handy with my tools, as you can clearly see!

Baseball Season

The highlight of my week (by far), was getting to go to the Rangers game on Friday night, with Nana, Papa Don, Mommy, Brian, Jessica, and Aunt Terri! The Rangers played the Astros, and won!!! I got to see about 4 homeruns, and with that, comes fireworks! I loved watching the mascot, and in fact, am STILL talking about how he put a ring on his nose. Mommy took me to the kids' section, and I got a temporary tatoo on my arm. I also got to watch some kids hit baseballs, and eat ice cream. I also enjoyed running up and down the ramps in the lobby area. Mommy even let me stay up late, so we could see the fireworks show! I LOVED it! There was loud music, booming fireworks, and even parachute men. One of the men actually had flames coming off of his shoes. It was truly an amazing night!

23 Month Update

Last week I learned how much fun it was to play in the hose! I got thirsty and took a few drinks, I sprayed myself and Mommy, and I watered the grass. I've been busy playing with friends, visiting the park, chasing Frisco (the cat), making crafts, and just being funny. I am learning all sorts of new things. I am learning Spanish right now. I can say about 4 words, and I actually use them appropriately. I still love to read. I'm making great progress in the summer reading program through the library. I already cannot wait for the swimming party! Speaking of parties, my birthday is only ONE MONTH away!!!! Mommy has been busy planning, and I have been busy handing out invites!!! I can't wait!

Dog Day

We did SOOOO much last week! We went to Story Time, where I am involved in the summer reading program. I've already had my 20 books read to me, which gives me a ticket to the swimming party! And a Rangers game! Tuesdays we've been going to a craft store, and making things. Last week, I got to paint a magnet. Mommy put it on the fridge. I did a really good job! We went to a LLL meeting, and had a playgroup at one of my friends' houses. Over the weekend, I attended Dog Day at the park with Mommy, Nana, Papa, and Lele. That was without a doubt, the highlight of the week! Even though it was boiling hot outside, it was fun seeing all of the dogs. There was music, a playground, and lots of snacks!

Swimmer

Here I am hanging out with P. Daddy at Nana and Papa's pool. I helped P. Daddy, Mommy, Nana, and Papa work REALLY hard on the trailer (AKA playhouse) this weekend, so this was our reward!

Weekend Fun

I had such a busy week and weekend. Mommy started taking me to a craft store, where we get to work on a new project each week. This week, I painted a magnet! I also made some cool sunglasses. I went to my playgroup, and had a blast playing with my friends. It was rainy pretty much all week, so when it cleared up on Thursday, Mommy and I went to the park! I fed the ducks, played in the water, went down the slides, climbed the ladder, and swang on the swings. Friday night we had our first monthly Family Movie Night at Nana's house! One of my friends came over and we watched a Dora movie. It was really fun! Saturday I hung out at Nana and Papa's, swimming in their pool. I can't wait until my playhouse is completed! Sunday Grandma and Granpa S. came over with Aunt Christie and Uncle Mike. I had a lot of fun swimming and playing with everyone. We even got to eat pizza for dinner! Yesterday, Story Time kicked into full gear again, so I was happy about that! Uncle Mike and Mommy then took me back to the park! (Did I mention the fact that I LOVE the park?!!!)

Sometimes I frighten easily with bugs....although I am really brave with lady bugs, doodle bugs, and butterflies....just not moths!
