Welcome Uncle Mike!
We had another busy week last week. Monday we stayed home (it was cold outside and Mommy and I were still sniffly). Tuesday Mommy and Miss Shawn took me and my buddy Dex to the park. It was still pretty cold, but the sun was shining for the most part. We had SO much fun playing on the playground, having a picnic, feeding the ducks at the pond, watching the seagulls chase the ducks (not very nice), kicking the soccer ball, and swinging on the swings. Wednesday was our usual playgroup, which was also fun. I really like it when Mommy takes me into the other room and plays Hide N Seek. This week, Dex. and his mommy joined us, which was super fun! Thursday, Mommy took Ansley and I to have our pictures done professionally. Everyone is saying they came out really pretty! Mommy will be mailing out copies next week for everyone! Friday, I went to the movies! The best part was getting to eat popcorn. I was bored after about an hour, so we left early. We saw the movie at the mall, so afterwards, Addie (my friend) and I rode on the carousel. We were going to have lunch there, but Ansley was too fussy (it was past her naptime). I was disppointed, but Mommy assures me there will be other times we can eat at the mall! Friday night we hung at Nana's house. Saturday morning, I went shopping with Nana, Lele and Mommy. Nana bought me some new sunglasses, which I wear all the time, even indoors! Lele bought me some Dora slippers, which I have worn almost daily! Thanks! Saturday afternoon, my Uncle Mike came in town, and boy was he fun! He and P. Daddy took me to the park, they played computer games (with me), and even played with me in my princess house! Spending time with my Uncle Mike was a LOT of fun! I'm going to miss him while he's in Venezuela! Oh, and Uncle Mike left me THREE gold dollar coins, which I already added to my kitty bank! THANKS, Uncle Mike!! While Uncle Mike was here, Uncle Steve came over for a visit, as did Grandma and Grandpa. Grandpa bought me a cholocate chip cookie, which I devoured slowly! Grandma played dress up dolls and colored with me!

Cooler
It FINALLY got cooler here! I have actually been able to wear my winter coat! My Nana has been taking me on walks to the park. This week, we met a real life treasure hunter, who was detecting metal at the park! It was really cool, with a digital readout and everything! The man let me keep the two pennies, and a nickel, and a dime that he found, to put in my kitty bank! P. Daddy cleaned out Mommy's car for her, and I helped. He let me play around in the car, which is one of my favorite things to do! We also hosted a playgroup at our house last week, which was really fun! I saw a few of my friends that I haven't seen in a while. Mommy and I have been feeling a bit under the weather with colds. We're trying really hard not to pass our germs on to Ansley, which I find to be a really difficult challenge, because I ALWAYS want to hug and kiss on her! But, Nana taught me how to cough into my elbow, and I've been teaching my friends that, so we don't spread our germs on our hands!

Projects!
Happy New Year, everyone! So far, mine is off to a GREAT start! I am two and a half this month, and I am a really big girl! I still have an impeccable memory. I am learning entire songs, most of which I can remember after only hearing once or twice! I have developed some fantastic relationships with my pretend friends, Austin, Diego, and Alicia. I love everything princess. I am getting excited about starting music class again, at the end of this month. New Years Eve was pretty cool. I did a sparkling grape cider toast with Mommy and P. Daddy. I didn't really care for the cider though, because it fizzed on my tongue! New Years Day, I helped Mommy and P. Daddy take down all of the indoor Christmas decorations. The next day, P. Daddy went back to work, and Mommy, Ansley, and I resumed our schedule. We went to a playgroup, and worked on some craft projects I got for Christmas. Friday and Saturday, we had dinner at Nana and Papa's. Mommy took me to the park on Saturday, which was fun. Although I saw another princess there, riding her bike, and was disappointed that I had not wore my Cinderella dress! Sunday we celebrated Matt's birthday ay a restaurant with some family. That was really fun, and I especially enjoyed the chocolate cake! Happy birthday, Matt!
