Daddy Day

I was SO busy last week! Uncle Mike came in town and stayed with us for a night. I had a lot of fun playing ball with him the next morning. I also attended art class and made some book marks. I had a play group with my friends, and went to the Science Museum. The museum was great. I got to talk on the telephone, work some science puzzles, dig for buried fossils, shop in a kid-sized grocery store, paint my face, do a puppet show, and drive some cars. It was really fun! Saturday I attended a friend's birthday party. Then, Sunday Mommy and P. Daddy thought it wa a good idea to start a new family tradition. Sundays, I will be spending some one on one time with P. Daddy. This weekend, he took me to a resort, because there was supposed to be a festival. While the festival turned out to be a fallacy, we still had a really great time exploring the resort. I enjoyed climbing this rock mountain, as depicted above! I can't wait to find out where P. Daddy will be taking me next! Next week Thursday, Mommy, Nana, and I leave for our trip to Michigan. I am looking forward to seeing severyone, expecially PT. I keep telling Mommy I am going to see him and tell him, "What?" just like we said in Padre!

Party

I played in the pool during the birthday party for my friend. It was SOOOO hot this weekend!

Museum

They had a really cool face painting station. I went to town, so to speak, coloring all over my face! It was really fun!

More Museum

Here I am at the Dinosaur Dig, looking for bones and other treasures buried in the sand. Some other kids found some cool fossils while I was there, but unfortunately, I left empy-handed!

Sea World!

Last week was crazy busy! Nana got us tickets to see the Rangers play on Thursday night. One of my friends, Nate and his parents, were actually sitting a few seats down from us! It was really fun! I enjoyed spending time with Nana, Mommy, and P. Daddy. Friday morning, Mommy and I left for Austin. That afternoon, I splashed in some big rain puddles with my friends. Saturday morning, we met Uncle Thomas and Kim at the Ice Cream Festival! It was so cool! We sampled ice cream, got temporary tatoos, got our faces painted (well, I didn't, but my friends did!) rode on ponies, fed some animals (including a deer, who tried to eat Mommy's shirt!), and bounced in some bounce houses. The live music added to the festival ambiance as well! After the festivities, we all went out to eat. I really enjoyed spending time with my Uncle Thomas and Kim! Sunday we woke up early and went to Sea World! It was hot, but I had a blast! I saw dolphins, penguins, sharks, sea lions, and more! Shamu was a big hit for everyone but me. By the time we saw him, I was about three hours late for my nap, and wanted nothing more than to get home and sleep! Monday we came home and spent time with Nana, Papa, and P. Daddy. I can't wait to get back to Austin and see my friends again!

Swimming

This week past was jam packed with fun activities! The library story time is on hiatus again, so we've been looking for something else to do on Mondays. This week, we did a playgroup at the Mall. I also got to ride on the merry-go-round. Tuesdays, I still help Mommy with laundry, and I also go to art class. This week I painted a wooden butterfly to put (it's on a stick) inside the pot of chives we planted. They still haven't grown yet, but I have been waiting....and watering! I think I also forgot to mention that our Basil is in full bloom. Does anyone need some fresh Basil? We've got a TON!! Wednesday we went to a LLL meeting. That was fun, because I got to play with all of my friends. Thursday we hung around the house and played. Friday I went to the dentist for the very first time. That was interesting. I got a clean billl of health. Mommy then had a doctors appointment to check on the baby. All is well with her too! Later that evening, we picked P. Daddy up from work, and went to see Grandma and Grandpa's new condo. I think the pool is going to be really fun there! Saturday morning Mommy and I dropped Nana off for a massage, and continued on to the park. I met a really nice girl there. I was having so much fun, I didn't want to leave! We later picked Nana back up, and all went to Central Market. I got a green balloon. I had lunch at Nana's, then headed home for a nap. Sunday we hung out at Nana and Papa's house, played in the playhouse, and swam in the pool. It was really fun. Mommy is trying to figure out how to (if it's even possible) to upload videos onto my blog, so hopefully we can start posting my videos fo y'all to see!

Houston Trip

Mommy and I traveled to Houston this past week, to visit some friends. It was a really fun trip. Wednesday night when we got there, our friends, and hosts (The Sheffields), treated us to a fabulous Italian dinner. I had one of my favorites, pizza! The next morning, on the way to visit my Uncle Mike, we stopped at Mommy's high school. According to her, things have really changed around there. Mike was a GREAT host! We treated each other to some birthday surprises- Happy Birthday, Uncle Mike! We also hung out in the backyard, played with playdough, stuck our feet in the pool, talked, and had an awesome jam session! Mike plays a mean guitar, and I can dance up a storm! We also got to go out to dinner to a really fun restaurant, that actually had a sand pit out front, full of toys for kids my size!! The food was awesome! Thanks again, Uncle Mike! Friday we ventured out to Mommy's old neighborhood, saw the old house, went to Bear Creek Park, and then hung out around the house. Eventually, we went to Chuck E. Cheese. I had never been to a place like that before, so you can imagine how excited I was! Saturday we met up with Mommy's friend Melissa for lunch. Then, Tyson and Kathy came over to play. I was really nice to Tyson and shared all of my toys with him. We then went back to Chuck E. Cheese for dinner with Kathy and Tyson! I was in my glory! We returned home today, and I am sure it will be nice to sleep in my own bed! We have a very busy week ahead, so I need to make sure I get my "beauty" rest!

More Birthday

My Uncle Mike treated me to a special Birthday Surprise (I later treated him to one as well!) I got to open more presents!! Thanks Uncle Mike!

Bear Creek Park

Here I am hanging out at one of my mom's favorite places as a child! It was really fun to play on the playground. In fact, we met a really friendly squirrel who came right up to his. Mommy and I fed him some grapes, which he loved and devoured on the spot!
