Here I am trying to beat the heat at a water park. I LOVE sitting under the fountains, and letting the water sprinkle me! My Uncle Thomas came to visit this weekend! He makes me smile! P. Daddy also installed a new ceiling fan in my bedroom, so it's nice and cool now. This week coming up is busy busy for me. I've got Story Time, dinner with the Siemers, playgroup,LLL, music, and two days of swimming (we're doing a makeup lesson this week). Then, Mommy is having dental surgery on Friday (prayers for a quick recovery are welcomed!), so P. Daddy is taking the day off to help out with me. Then, we're just going to spend a quiet weekend at home. Otherwise, not too much is new with me. I am sleeping much better at night, but I am getting pickier about my eating! I got a lot of books for my birthday, so mommy has been reading a lot to me (I love to look at the pictures, and point out animals, and make their sounds)! 

Here I am learning all about construction at the Children's Museum. Even though it was REALLY cute, I didn't want to keep my hard hat on! I did, however, test drive a crane, sort some nuts and bolts, build a tower out of wooden blocks, shingle a roof, and arrange some furniture in a dollhouse! 

You might say mommy and I got a little "picture happy" this week! There were just too many cute pictures, to only post one or two! Last week, mommy and I traveled to Austin. We had SOOO much fun! Here I am with my Uncle Bob. We had an awesome dinner with him one night, and he really made me laugh. It was fun hearing about his recent travels. Mommy and I also hung out with J-Lo and the boys. We had a playgroup, went swimming at La La's, and went to the Children's Museum. We had SOOOOO much fun. We got home on Sunday, and within the last two days, I cut two new teeth! I also took 2 steps all by myself on Sunday!

Happy birthday to me! Happy birthday to me! This is me after eating my scrumptious strawberry shortcake at my 1st birthday party! (Everyone was surprised at what a dainty eater I am, because I didn't get cake all over myself!) Mommy helped me practice throughout the week, so I blew out the candle all by myself! I was SO happy to see so many of my friends and family come to celebrate my first year! It was SO much fun, visiting, eating cake, and of course, opening presents!

This past week was really really busy. I went to a really fun playgroup on Tuesday, that was held at a miniwaterpark. At first, I was hesitant to get into the water. It was freezing, and there were kids running around and screaming everywhere!! I eventually warmed up, got in, and had a blast. Mommy will post some of those pictures next week, so check back! Then, I went to my very first MLB game!! I saw the Rangers play the Astros!! (Well, honestly, I didn't watch too much of the game, because I was busy playing with the baseball cards they gave out! Even though the Rangers lost, I had fun with mommy and Sweetie. Then, mommy, P. Daddy, and I went to the lakehouse to visit with Grandma and Grandpa S. My cousin Ryan, his mom, and my two uncles were also there. We went to the beach, and played in the lake, went for walks, played games, ate, and laughed in good company! I heard there was an awesome air show followed by a fireworks display. (I missed everything, because I fell asleep!) Maybe I'll be able to stay up later next year! Anyhow, a wonderful time was had by all!
