Birthdays Galore!

Last week, I helped to bake some cupcakes for P. Daddy's birthday! They were very tasty! Happy birthday to Mommy, P. Daddy, and Grandma! This past weekend, I got to go to P. Daddy's work for the open house. It was pretty cool seeing how the watches get processed. After the Open House, we hung out with Grandma, Grandpa S., Aunt Chris, and Ryan. It was really fun playing balloon ball at Grandma and Grandpa's! Sunday, I attended a baby shower with Mommy. That was fun as well! I have started telling stories now, beginning with, "Once upon a time..." I can also sing more songs now (like the ones from music class, as well as others). Mommy took me to the doctor today, because I haven't been feeling well all weekend. It turns out, I have an ear infection. I am taking my medicine though, and Mommy and I are having a relaxing, "movie day", so I am pleased!

GrapeFest

I haven't blogged in a while, and I apologize. Mommy and I have been quite busy. Last weekend, my Uncle Thomas came in town with his girlfriend, to help us celebrate Papa Don's birthday (I hope you had a GREAT one, Papa!) We all got together on Saturday, and watched the UT football game. Sunday, Nana, Papa, Thomas, Kim, and Aunt Lele all came over for Papa's birthday dinner. The cake was undoubtedly the best part about that celebration! Story Time started up for Fall again, so Ive been going there. I also started my music class again, which I am thrilled about. The theme this time is water. I have Mommy read me the bathtime book from music class nightly. Wednesday we attended a playgroup, which is always fun. Thursday I helped Mommy clean up around the house, and we did some shopping for books. Friday I went to a friend's house to play. Saturday, Mommy, P. Daddy, Cassie, and Molly, and I all went to GrapeFest. For those of your who are not familiar, it's a wine festival, but there is a TON for children to do. I played playdough, build with blocks, watching some kids singing and dancing, rode on a train, and REALLY wanted to ride on the carnival rides, but was sorely disappointed to learn that I am just not tall enough this year. I'm eating a lot of vegetables and protein, in the hopes that I will be able to try them out next year! It was sad, and I even cried. I really enjoyed spending time with Molly and Cassie though. Today, we're having a birthday celebration at Nana and Papa's house for Mommy and Daddy's birthdays. And, today is Aunt Lele's birthday! Happy birthday, Aunt Lele!! Grandma S.'s is on the 19th, so happy birthday to you as well! I look forward to visiting with you next weekend!

Family Vacation

Mommy and I returned from the great mittened State this morning! Although we are exhausted, we both had a wonderful time! A big thanks to each of our hosts! I got to see and spend time with both of my Great Grandmothers. I held a bunny, Lucy, and hand fed her lettuce! I jumped on the bed, helped built a campfire, made S-Mores for the first time, had cupcakes for breakfast, soaked my feet in the lake, tried bologna salad for the first time, met more relatives, went swimming, ate some awesome pizza, joked around, chased Cleo and Jazzy, visited a park, and just all around had a really fun time! I look forward to going back and visiting with Miss Pat and her family, PT and his parents, and everyone else!

Brunch

I was also invited to my very first brunch! I had a blast hanging out (beforehand) outside the club, with Mommy, Miss Pat, Nana, and Kristin! I especially loved running around the building, while my entourage chanted, "Go Avery Go!"
