Vegas!

Most of you know, we just got back from a trip to Vegas. It was a lot of fun! The first night we got in, we pretty much just ate dinner and went to bed. That is, after we messed around at the airport and hotel. The picture shows me playing around on a stone snake in the lobby of the airport. The next morning, we got up early, to pick up Miss Pat. We then ventured on to the Hoover Dam. It was amazing! I wanted to get out and walk across it, but we were pressed for time. We then went hiking on an old railroad track, which legend has it, was used to bring supplies and materials back in the day, to build the Hoover Dam. By the time we got started, it was late morning, and extremely hot. I was a trooper though, and with some help from my family, I made it all the way to the tunnels. I took out my flashlight and everything, because it was dark. Miss Pat even took me off the trail to explore! After the hike, we were all exhausted. We swam in the pool to cool off, then went to dinner. Thursday, we spent the day exploring the strip. We went to a few of the casinos, looking for open gamerooms. We didn't have much luck, seeing as we are early risers! The last day we were there, we went to Circus Circus. THAT place was amazing! I hope I'll get to go back some time!

Hoover Dam

Here I am in front of the Hoover Dam. Papa took this picture, to show the awesome bridge they are building across the water! Maybe next time I come, we'll get to drive across it!

More Excalibur

Here I am with Miss Pat. She is showing me the cool gameroom, which wasn't opened at the time (we got there too early). That was disappointed. I made lemonade with my lemons though. I danced around with Mommy, and pretended to be Cinderella in her castle!

Gamer

I really enojoyed our visit to Circus Circus. You know why? Because they had a million games and rides all for kids just my size! I won a whole bunch of tickets, and traded them in for a fabulous sparkly pink ball!

Hunting

Here we are on our way out to find crabs. The crab hunting was unsuccessful. The only thing we go was about a million mosquito bites!

Writing in the Sand

Well, we got back from a week in Padre this past weekend. It was a LOT of fun! I played at the beach, swam in the pool, went out for ice cream, hunted for crabs, took walks, messed around at the condo, visited the lighthouse, and visited the Sea Life Center. I had such a great time visiting with my family!

Buried Treasure

Here I am helping Aunt Chris bury my feet in the sand! The tide was so high because of a hurricane out in the gulf that I only spent one day at the beach. At one point, a huge wave came up onto the beach and knocked me off my feet. It scared me, so I didn't want to go back!

Corpus Aquarium

On the way to Padre, we stopped at the Corpus Christi Aquarium. There were several things which were really cool about it. They had dolphins for one! They also had a touch tank with sting rays and a sand shark! I was not brave enough to touch anything this time. They also had a really cool family playroom, which is where I was when this photo was taken. I was putting on a puppet show for my sister. I also looked into a microscope for the first time. It was amazing to see things magnified! Did I mention the playscape! They had four or five different playscapes for all different ages/sizes. It was SOOOO fun!

Homeschool!

Well, as most of you know, I started homeschool the week before last. I am having SO much fun. Even though I'm only in school two days a week, I ask my Mommy to "play" school almosy daily. I enjoy getting to be the teacher too! In this picture, I was working on a project outside. Instead of painting the paper, I decided to paint my sister! My mom, in turn, decided to paint me! This sparked a huge painting fight! Then, we all took a bath and cleaned up!
