First, my mommy would like to apologize for snoozing last week! We've been pretty busy. Here I am doing my best "bossy" impersonation and telling my mommy what to do! I like to think I've become pretty good at that lately. Last week we went to the library, hung out with Grandpa Don, attended playgroup, and made some new friends. My Uncle Thomas was in town this weekend with his dog, so my Aunt Julie and Mogwai got to stay with us at our house! I love to pant like Mogwai. Uncle Thomas, Sweetie, and Grandpa Don all rode in the "Hotter Than Hell" bike race this weekend, and amazingly, survived the heat. Mommy and P. Daddy took me to a birthday party on Saturday which was really fun. I especially liked going down the slide, and eating cake and ice cream. Sunday, we went for a long bike ride, and ended up playing for a really long time at the playground. P. Daddy spun me around on the merry-go-round, which was really fun. (He ended up feeling woosy and got off before I was ready!) I also crawled through the tunnel, climbed all of the stairs, slid down the slides, swang on the swings, and got really tired! After my nap, my Uncle Steve came to visit. He was SO nice and brought me a big red ball, which I love! He also showed me how to blow in a bottle and make music. It was fascinating! We finally got some MUCH needed rain yesterday afternoon and today. Although I am bummed because we haven't been able to go out much, mommy assures me that the rain is good for feeding the plants and helping them grow. We look forward to the holiday weekend coming up, and to spending time with our relatives from the North coming to visit (My great Aunt Pat and her daughter, Kristin). I am also looking forward to getting to visit with my Grandma and Grandpa Siemer next weekend as well!
