The Fair

Last week was full of fun, but I'd have to say the highlight was going to the State Fair with mommy, Grandpa, and Grandma S. I got to see and touch SO many animals inside the petting tent (including pigs, sheep, goats, lamas, zebras, ostriches, emus, brahmas, ducks, and more), I saw some kittens and puppies, and I saw a backyard circus. I also saw the HUGE horses that the mounted patrol ride on. I had SO much fun! A random stranger also thought I was cute, and therefore gave me this stuffed puppy dog, which I LOVE!! I'm hoping next year I'll get to ride on some of the rides! Posted by Picasa

Arboretum Patch

Here is the picture I previously promised of me sitting in the pumpkin patch at the Arboretum. This past week was filled with fun, as usual. I went to Story Time, helped mommy with the laundry, joined a new playgroup, danced and sang in music class, and went to the lakehouse with Mommy, P. Daddy, and Grandma and Grandpa S. The weather wasn't all that great, but we sure didn't let that spoil our weekend. We worked some puzzles, read books, went for bike rides, played ball in the driveway, walked through the neighborhood, watched the birds, collected treasures I found in the yard, and just generally had a lot of fun! Posted by Picasa

At the Farm

One of the highlights of this week was a playgroup we had at a farm just outside of town. We got to hear a story about a pumpkin who lost his nose, do a bean bag toss, pet some dogs and cats, see some chickens, roosters, and turkeys, brush some sheep and goats, see some pigs, bunnies, donkeys, deer, and ponies, ride on a train, feed a donkey, pick a pumpkin and decorate it, go on a hayride, and jump in a bouncehouse. It was SOOOO much fun! I LOVED the brushing part (can you tell?!!) Posted by Picasa

Here I am in the pumpkin patch at the farm, picking out the very best pumpkin ever! I got to decorate it with markers, and it looks really cool! Posted by Picasa

15 Month Update

Those of you who haven't seen me in a while, are not going to believe the changes I've made in the last few months! I am talking (or trying to) like crazy. My new favorite word is "uh oh", and I use it very frequently! Be warned, because I mimic just about everything I hear. I am walking everywhere. I can go down the slide at the playground all by myself. I have gotten two of my one year molars. I have been going poo-poo in the potty regularly and pee-pee on ocassion! I am starting to dress myself (I can pull my own pants up, and get help with my shirts). I am learning how to color with crayons. I also LOVE to help. My favorite things to help out with are unloading the dishwasher (no knives or forks for me, don't worry!) and sweeping the kitchen floor. In fact, this picture depicts the joy I express with helping to mop the floor! Posted by Picasa

Weekend Fun

Here I am showing off my dancing skills, with my Grandpa S. He's so nice to help me dance! Last week was packed with fun activities. We hit Story Time, ran some errands, started a new program called Toddler Time (really fun with a bouncehouse, balls, blocks, trampoline, etc.), hung out with Grandpa Don, went to music class, spent time with my S. Grandparents, Aunt Christie, and my cousin Ryan, and went to the Arboretum. The Arboretum was probably my favorite. The flowers were beautiful, and mommy stopped and let me smell a few! There was also a pumpkin patch (those pictures are coming soon), and a water feature. I had SO much fun splashing in the water with mommy. We were both soaked when I was finished! Thanks to my Grandma and Grandpa S. for making that trip so much fun! Posted by Picasa
