This is me having a blast at my music class. I love it when my mommy sings to me, and when we get to dance. Obviously, I also like the toys my teacher brings! Mommy and I just got back from a trip to Austin, where we spent time with J-Lo, D-Lo, Neeks, and my Uncle Bob. I had a really good time. We went and painted pottery, ate out, went to Zilker Park, rode on the train, fed some birds, went to the bookstore and played! Thanks to our friends in Austin, for their hospitality!! Posted by Picasa

Here I am with my newest hat. It's been so hot here, I'm having to wear one every time I go outside (because I still don't have much hair)!! Anyhow, I am officially nine months old now! Last month, I learned how to wave "hi" and "bye bye", I point to everything I want, I can identify my own (and other people's) body parts (by pointing to-mouth, nose, and eyes), I am scooting on my bottom, I can get from a sitting position onto my belly, and I can clap my hands together. I can also roll and throw a ball (that's one of my favorite games right now). I am LOVING my music class, because I get to put almost all of my new skills to work! Posted by Picasa

Happy Easter, everyone! I know this isn't an "Eastery" picture, but we spent the holiday weekend at the Siemer family lakehouse. I had SO much fun with Grandma, Grandpa, my Uncle Steve, Aunt Chris, and cousin RJ. This is a picture of mommy and I at the beach on the lake. The weather was gorgeous, and I LOVED playing and splashing in the water. I already can't wait to go back! Our Easter was filled with fun. I got to go to a party, where I went on an Easter egg hunt and on a pony ride (well, truthfully I just posed on the pony while P. Daddy took a picture!) It was really fun! Posted by Picasa

Here I am with P. Daddy, getting ready to dye some eggs!  Posted by Picasa

This is me playing with my favorite toy (the Incrediblock). I love to pull myself up on it and push all of the buttons. This week was pretty busy. We started out with story time on Monday. Then, I helped mommy with the laundry and housework on Tuesday. Wednesday, we hung out with my Grandpa Don. Thursday I went to my new music class, which I absolutely love! (I am getting really good at shaking the shakers and bells!) Mommy and I also went with my Aunt Jules, to get her hair cut! She looks SO beautiful!! Friday, mommy and I spent some time outdoors because the weather was so beautiful. She took me for rides around the driveway in my new wagon! Saturday we met up with my Grandma and Grandpa S. and went to P. Daddy's company picnic. I got a LOT of attention there! I had a blast playing with everyone, picking grass, eating, and meeting the clown. We then went to a crawfish boil. I had never seen real live crawfish before. I wanted to touch them really bad!! We then spent the night with my S. Grandparents, which was also really fun. Tune in to next weeks blog, because I'm officially turning 9 months, and you'll want to read up on my "stats"!! Have a great week everyone!! Posted by Picasa

First of all, mommy would like to say she is sorry for slacking on my blog!! She's been fighting a bad reaction to the antibiotic she had been taking for mastitis. She's feeling better now, but we've all had to make some adjustments. Mommy wishes she were as resiliant as I am! Anyhow, this past weekend, we had the fortune of taking a road trip to Natchez, Mississippi (for fun), with our dear friends, rtilghman. We ate some really great food, shopped at some neat boutiques, watched our very first Confederate Pageant, and toured some homes that were built in the 17 and 1800s. This is a picture of mommy, P. Daddy, and me on the second floor balcony of one of the homes. Natchez was absolutely one of the most beautiful places on Earth. The flowers were in bloom everywhere, and the weather was perfect (about 70 degrees and sunny). We stayed at a quaint little B&B, which was also lovely. We also heard lots of ghosty stories involving slaves and tales from the Civil War! Anyhow, thanks to rtilghman and their families for showing us a really great time! Posted by Picasa

Here I am with my beloved rtilghman couple!! (Aren't they adorable?!!) Anyhow, they and their families, were wonderful tour guides for the weekend. Posted by Picasa
