Thomas the Train
Two exciting things happened this weekend. I got to go to my first birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese, and Thomas the Tank Engine was in town again! Josh's party was great. We played games, rode the rides, ate cake, sang, and danced. I had so much fun in fact, that I fell asleep on the ride home! Aunt Leelee treated me to a ride on Thomas today. It was SOOO fun! I got to bounce in a bouncehouse, color, play with trains, watch some really cool electric ones, see a movie, and of course, take a RIDE ON THOMAS!! Thanks again, Leelee!!!

Another Egg Hunt
This weekend was Easter Weekend. I spent it with Mommy, P. Daddy, Ansley and Grandma and Grandpa at their lakehouse. Aunt Chris was also there, with my cousin RJ, and Uncle Steve came up as well. The weather was SOOO nice, despite the fact that forecasters predicted rain! I got to ride on the golfcart, look at the deer, take walks, ride my bike, play in the dirt, play soccer, play hide n seek, Easter party/egg hunt, swim in the hottub, and more! It was a pretty exciting weekend! The Easter bunny came to, and left me a basket FULL of things, like CANDY and books!

Kite Festival
First, I would like to apologize for not blogging in so long! Things have been pretty crazy with us. Ansley and I have both had some major doctors appointments (if anyone wants to know more about that- just ask Mommy, P. Daddy, Nana, Papa, or Grandma or Grandpa). We've been doing our normal activities each week. I think the two highlights for me, were the flashlight Easter Egg hunt, and the kite festival. Last Friday night, Nana, Lele, Mommy, and P. Daddy took Ansley and I to the Easter Egg hunt. It was a lot of fun, despite being FREEZING cold outside! Luckily for us, there was a lot to do inside as well (face painting- which I am still scared to do, bouncehouses, a live band- which Mommy and I danced to, games- I won several prizes!, and you could get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny. The Bunny looked to weird to me, so I decided against that one as well! Yesterday, while Mommy was at her Book Club meeting, P. Daddy and I got to spend some together. A park near us hosted a kite festival. It was REALLY cool! The weather was perfect (as you can see in the picture). I played on the playscape, MADE my own kite, watched a whole bunch of people fly their kites, played in the bouncehouse, and more. Thanks P. Daddy!

Grandma & Grandpa!
Grandma and Grandpa finally arrived home, and came for a visit yesterday. I had SOOO much fun playing with them, and having lunch together. In fact, I was so disappointed when I woke up from my nap and found they had left, that I cried! Last week was fun. Monday I helped Mommy with the laundry and household chores. I am getting pretty good with a broom! Tuesday we had music class. We're learning all about fast and slow tempos. Wednesday we went to a playgroup. Thursday Ansley had a doctors appointment. I held her hand while she got her shots. She cried a little. Friday Mommy helped me do some research on Red Eyed Tree Frogs, because I am very ineterested in them. We printed out some facts and coloring sheets. I learned that they live in Central America, they are nocturnal, they are carvnivores (they eat insects), and they don't actually hop like regular frogs. They walk like we do. nd, of course, they have sticky toes, which I think is pretty cool. Also, their eyes are red, in case they fall alseep and if a predator approaches, they open their eyes, and the bright red frightens and confuses other animals. Mommy is also teaching me a lot about the human body. We have been talking mostly about digestion, because that is what I am most interested in. I think esophogus is a pretty funny word! Anyhow, Friday we met up with some friends for lunch and later went to the park. We hung out at Nana's house with Lele Friday night. Papa and P. Daddy did some more brewing Saturday, so I got to play in my playhouse with Mommy. Saturday night, I slept at Nana and Papa's house. In the morning, we got to build a tent in the bed, and I thought that was cool! Later that day, Grandma and Grandpa came over for a visit! I had really missed them while they were out of town! I look forward to seeing them again on Tuesday!
Park, Park, and More Park
I know I mention the park ALL the time, but it's really where I LOVE to spend my days! Especially when the weather is SO nice (as it has been here)... of course, as I write this, we are supposed to get 2-3 inches of snow later this afternoon! Here I am, hiking in the woods with Nana. I really like to hike, feed the ducks, visit the horses, and play at the playground!
