Christmas is coming!!!

The day after Thanksgiving, Aunt Mary, DJUM, and Uncle Steve came over and watched the UT game with us. We were all quite disappointed with the game. Later that night, mommy, and P. Daddy took me downtown to watch a parade and a Christmas Tree lighting. It was really cool. I saw trains, horses, and lots and lots of lights. Saturday, I helped mommy and P. Daddy put up our Christmas decorations! That was a LOT of fun! I enjoyed helping to put the lights on our Christmas tree the most. Later that afternoon, we met my cousin Ryan and Aunt Christie at a cool place where I made Christmas presents for my family. Then, we adjourned to Grandma and Grandpa S.' house, where we ate dinner together. Sunday, I spent most of the day with Grandpa Don and Nana Sweetie, so mommy and P. Daddy could put the Christmas lights up on the outside of the house. Our house is SO bright and beautiful! When mommy saw it after dark, she sang "Hallelujah!" right outloud! Everytime I see the lights, I say "Wow!" I really enjoyed all of the time with my family, and of course, I am looking forward to Christmas! Posted by Picasa

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving this year was spent at my Grandma and Grandpa S.' house. Here I am checking out my cousins new car with my DJUM, my Aunt Mary, and my Aunt Chris. It was a really cool car. It made lots of noises, including music, which of course, I danced to. I got a Dora doll, which I have been carrying around with me ever since! We played some games, and we ate turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, broccoli, and bread. For dessert, we had apple and pumpkin pies. (I loved BOTH!) Anyhow, I just want to tell you all that I am very thankful for my family and friends! Posted by Picasa

16 Month Update

I know this picture is blurry, but it had to be for the viewer to appreciate my moves! I LOVE music and I LOVE to dance. Mommy let me play in the car with her last week, and caught me bobbing my head to one of my favorite songs! So, I am 16 months old now. I have started talking. I know about 25 words, but can repeat just about everything you say to me. I also understand about 95% of what is said to me. I am still using sign language, and know about 30-35 signs. I am also learning my colors. I know LOTS of animals, and the sounds they make. I can identify all of my body parts, and can name the main ones (eyes, ears, nose, mouth, head, hair). Mommy is teaching me a few words in Spanish as well. I am also trying to remember to use my manners, by saying (or signing "please" and "thank you") and covering my mouth when I cough. I am in the process of toilet training. It's been over a month since I've gone poo poo in a diaper. It's all about the potty for me! I have all of my one year molars. I eat like a champion. Currently, my favorite foods include cucumber salad, pizza, pasta, rice, blueberries, bananas, pineapple, pears, peas, and chicken. I am not really fond of potatoes (unless they're in the form of french fries), green beans, or broccoli. Things I am interested in right now, include dolls, trains, and Elmo. I also like Spider Man (thanks to my friends in Austin!) Posted by Picasa

Santa's Arrival

The highlight of this past week was undoubtedly Friday night. I went with my Mommy, P. Daddy, my Aunt Christie, and my Cousin Ryan out to eat (pizza!) and then downtown to watch a tree lighting. It was SO cool! Santa actually rappelled down the side of the building! I am really looking forward to Thanksgiving. I heard my Uncle Mike and Aunt Mary are coming in town. I'm looking forward to seeing them (here's hoping to some tickling fun horsey bites!). I'm also looking forward to seeing my Grandpa and Grandma Siemer, and having a yummy dinner at their house! Yes, I have a LOT to be thankful for! Posted by Picasa

Fall

I am here experiencing the joys of Fall! I helped Mommy and P. Daddy build a pile of leaves, then I threw them up into to the air! Some of them fell on my head, which was really fun! It was a good time! Posted by Picasa

Long Flowing Hair

I love to pretend I have long flowing hair, using my shirts! Last week was packed with fun, as always. Mommy and I went to Story Time, had playgroup, and attended our last music class of the semester. Nana Sweetie and Grandpa Don came home from their trip and spent time with me this weekend, while mommy and P. Daddy redid the garden beds in the front yard. Mommy and I are looking forward to a break in activities for the holidays. We'll be very busy doing the toy drive for CPS! Posted by Picasa

Pony Tails

Well it's official, people...My hair is long enough for a pony tail!! This weekend was quite fun. Saturday I spent the day with mommy, grocery shopping, having lunch, and playing hide and seek in the yard (that's one of my new favorite games). Nana Sweetie and Papa Don came over for pizza dinner and we watched the UT game. Hook 'Em Horns! Sunday, I got to hang out most of the morning with Nana Sweetie and Papa Don, while mommy and P. Daddy worked very hard on the yard. That afternoon, I played, colored, and worked puzzles with mommy and P. Daddy. I also got to talk on the phone to my Great Grandma Gigi! I hope everyone has a good week! Grandma and Grandpa S. have headed to the beach, while Nana Sweetie and Grandpa Don are headed to Vegas! Oh, I almost forgot, DON'T FORGET TO VOTE!! Posted by Picasa

Austin Trip/Happy Halloween

Mommy and I just got back from our trip to Austin. It was an absolute blast! My good friend, Nikos, celebrated his 4th birthday! The party was SO much fun. He had a pinata, a real live train (which I got to ride on THREE TIMES!), and some really good cake! While in Austin, we went shopping, painted pottery, played, went out to eat, saw a Halloween fashion show, spent time at LaLa's, hung out with Uncle Thomas, played piano, danced, and went trick or treating. I had an awesome Halloween!! I even got to taste some chocolate for the first time, and it was delightful! I hope to have some more really soon! I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween! Posted by Picasa
