GrapeFest
I haven't blogged in a while, and I apologize. Mommy and I have been quite busy. Last weekend, my Uncle Thomas came in town with his girlfriend, to help us celebrate Papa Don's birthday (I hope you had a GREAT one, Papa!) We all got together on Saturday, and watched the UT football game. Sunday, Nana, Papa, Thomas, Kim, and Aunt Lele all came over for Papa's birthday dinner. The cake was undoubtedly the best part about that celebration! Story Time started up for Fall again, so Ive been going there. I also started my music class again, which I am thrilled about. The theme this time is water. I have Mommy read me the bathtime book from music class nightly. Wednesday we attended a playgroup, which is always fun. Thursday I helped Mommy clean up around the house, and we did some shopping for books. Friday I went to a friend's house to play. Saturday, Mommy, P. Daddy, Cassie, and Molly, and I all went to GrapeFest. For those of your who are not familiar, it's a wine festival, but there is a TON for children to do. I played playdough, build with blocks, watching some kids singing and dancing, rode on a train, and REALLY wanted to ride on the carnival rides, but was sorely disappointed to learn that I am just not tall enough this year. I'm eating a lot of vegetables and protein, in the hopes that I will be able to try them out next year! It was sad, and I even cried. I really enjoyed spending time with Molly and Cassie though. Today, we're having a birthday celebration at Nana and Papa's house for Mommy and Daddy's birthdays. And, today is Aunt Lele's birthday! Happy birthday, Aunt Lele!! Grandma S.'s is on the 19th, so happy birthday to you as well! I look forward to visiting with you next weekend!
